Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as “the Terms”) before using The COSMIC SAUNA. By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you understand and agree to comply with them.

These Terms form part of the agreement between us and our customers regarding the use of our experience service (hereinafter referred to as “the Experience”). By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge that you accept and will adhere to all conditions outlined herein.

Additionally, the personal information (such as name, phone number, and email address) that we collect from you will be used for emergency contact purposes in case of accidents or incidents during the Experience. We are committed to handling and protecting your personal information appropriately. For inquiries regarding the handling of personal information, please refer to Article 15.

1. Health Condition Confirmation and Consent
Customers who have been advised by their doctor not to use saunas, or those with any of the following health conditions, or customers who are not in good health, should refrain from using the Experience. Additionally, customers who have been drinking alcohol will not be permitted to use the Experience for health reasons.

Health Conditions for Which the Experience Should Be Avoided
Customers with the following conditions should refrain from using the Experience:

  • Acute illnesses (especially those with fever)
  • Active tuberculosis
  • Malignant tumors
  • Severe heart disease
  • Respiratory failure, spinal or kidney failure
  • Hemorrhagic diseases, skin diseases
  • Any diseases in which the condition is currently progressing
  • Customers with severe anemia
  • Customers suspected of having an infectious disease
  • Pregnant customers (especially in early or late stages) or those who may be pregnant
  • Hypertension
  • Diarrhea
  • Customers who have just undergone surgery or are extremely fatigued
  • Customers with bleeding injuries or during menstruation with heavy bleeding

By agreeing to these Terms, you declare that you do not fall under any of the above conditions and acknowledge that we are not responsible for any health issues or other damages arising from such conditions. Furthermore, you agree that using the Experience is at your own discretion and that we will not be held liable for any health changes or issues during use.

2. Suspension of Use
If you begin to feel unwell during your use of the Experience, please immediately stop and notify the staff.

3. Use by Minors
Minors may only use the Experience if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Use by minors alone is prohibited.

4. Prohibited Activities
The following actions are strictly prohibited while using The COSMIC SAUNA. If you violate or are suspected of violating these rules, we may suspend the Experience and take other necessary measures.

  1. Bringing combustible materials (newspapers, magazines, tobacco, etc.) into The COSMIC SAUNA is prohibited.
  2. Wearing or bringing jewelry (such as piercings, necklaces, or rings) into The COSMIC SAUNA is prohibited to prevent deformation or burns.
  3. Bringing pets into The COSMIC SAUNA is prohibited.
  4. Using The COSMIC SAUNA without appropriate attire (nude use) is prohibited.
  5. Using The COSMIC SAUNA for activities other than the intended experience, such as relieving oneself, hair dyeing, scrubbing, or laundry, is prohibited.
  6. To avoid fire hazards, throwing items into the stove, pouring substances other than water onto the stove, or excessively pouring water onto the stove is prohibited.
  7. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside The COSMIC SAUNA. Drinking or eating is also prohibited, except for hydration with water.
  8. Please refrain from any filming by staff inside The COSMIC SAUNA.
  9. Filming for business, promotional, advertising, solicitation, or other commercial purposes (unless authorized by us) is prohibited.
  10. Please refrain from removing any equipment or facilities from The COSMIC SAUNA.
  11. In spaces other than The COSMIC SAUNA (such as the reception, corridors, or restrooms), please wear proper clothing. Swimwear is not permitted.
  12. Any actions that violate the Terms, disturb our operations, cause damage to The COSMIC SAUNA, its equipment or facilities, or cause inconvenience to other customers are prohibited.

5. Important Notes for Using The COSMIC SAUNA
Please comply with any instructions or requests from the staff.

6. Staff Entry and Guidance
If you exceed your scheduled time, or if the staff determines it necessary to check your condition for safety reasons, or in the event of an emergency (such as a fire or earthquake), the staff may enter the sauna or request you to evacuate. Please follow the staff’s instructions.

7. Handling of Valuables
Please take full responsibility for the safety of your valuables. We are not liable for any damage, theft, or loss of personal items during your use of the Experience. Additionally, unless otherwise specified, we are not responsible for any damages to you during the Experience, except in cases of intentional or gross negligence on our part.

8. Prohibition of Violence and Harassment
Acts of violence, threats, or inappropriate demands, spreading false rumors, or using force or fraud to harm our or third-party reputations, or interfering with business operations, are strictly prohibited. If any such behavior is observed, you may be asked to leave immediately, and we may report the matter to the authorities.

9. Suspension of Service Due to Equipment Malfunction or Cancellation of Reservation
If a malfunction or failure of any equipment at The COSMIC SAUNA prevents you from using the service, we may suspend or cancel your reservation. In such cases, any fees already charged to your credit card will be refunded according to our designated method. However, we will not be held liable for any other compensation beyond the refund.

10. Customer Compensation
If you violate these Terms and cause any damage, loss, or expenses to us (including legal fees), or if you damage, soil, or lose any of our equipment, you agree to compensate us for the repair, cleaning, or replacement costs.

11. Use of Photos
We may repost or retweet photos shared by customers on their social media accounts (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) related to their experience. By posting, you acknowledge and accept this.

12. Non-Association with Anti-Social Forces
We will refuse service to customers who fall under any of the following categories. By agreeing to these Terms, you guarantee that you do not belong to any of these groups. If it is discovered afterward, you will be asked to leave immediately, and your future use of the facility will be prohibited. No refunds will be provided.

  1. Members of organized crime groups, or persons involved with such groups.
  2. Individuals who were part of such groups within the last five years.
  3. Individuals whose management is controlled or influenced by such groups.
  4. Individuals who provide funds or other assistance to such groups.
  5. Individuals with socially reprehensible relationships with such groups.

13. Changes to the Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time without prior notice by updating the Terms on our reservation website or our website. By continuing to use the service after the revision, you will be considered to have accepted the new Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by Japanese law. Any disputes arising from the interpretation or use of these Terms or the Experience shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nagano District Court.
